The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet area close to the center of Bath, making it a fantastic spot for exploring the city. The rooms, though lovely with private garden access, had limited space for hanging clothes and drawers. The service was excellent with friendly and knowledgeable staff available to offer recommendations. The dining experience, while offering great choices, was a bit unorganized. The historic town house setting added charm to the location.
The Windsor Townhouse is a lovely hotel with a great location, making it easy to explore Bath. The rooms, although small, provide a cozy atmosphere. The dining experience, while including continental breakfast, might leave you craving more options. The service is kind and accommodating, adding to the overall pleasant stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not so good aspects. The room felt more like a suite, which was a nice touch, but it was overpriced and small in size, especially located on the third floor at the end of a narrow staircase, not ideal for those with heavy luggage. However, the bed was really comfortable, providing a good night's sleep.
The hotel is in a convenient location, within walking distance to the town center. The rooms lacked some key amenities like bath mats and shower gel, and the staff's friendliness varied. On the positive side, the location is superb for exploring the city, and the nearby dining options were exceptional.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room had a beautiful view over the city and the outlying area. It was well presented, spacious, and tidy, although a bit small. The service was top-notch, with informative, helpful, and polite staff who even went the extra mile with a lovely homemade lemonade on arrival. The location was great, close to the Abbey and surrounding attractions, within walking distance of venues, restaurants, and the High Street. The dining experience could improve, as the breakfast options were limited. Overall, a wonderful stay with a few minor room and dining drawbacks.
